Wax worms are fine. For the cat food I like the brand Wellness. I usually use Wellness Core Grain Free. The mazuri insectivore diet you can get from mazuri.com

Actually, superworms are very bad for hedgehogs as they are fed with hormones and can affect their health. They can also eat their way out of your hedgehog's stomach.

That depends on the place you get your superworms, if you get them from a place that mass produces them then they are probably fed with hormones but if you breed your own and don't feed them hormones then they will be ok for your hedgehog to eat

when your hedgehog bites a worm, it dies. Simple as that. They can't eat through their stomach, that is simply a myth.

How exactly do you clip a hedgehogs nails? I don't want to hurt it. I'm getting it in 3 days.

I recently got a approximately 2 year old hedgehog through a rehoming from a family that was moving. I've been feeding her the dry food that the previous family gave her along with some mealworms and fresh watermelon. I've notice however that her "droppings" have been getting greener and greener since coming home with me. I understand this could be a stress response to the rehoming and is at least partially to blame, however could the addition of dried mealworms and watermelon be affecting her negatively if the previous family only gave her the dry food?

If you're already giving your hedgehog normal hard food, would you give them extra things like the egg or spinach in addition to their meal, as a treat or something else?
