That was really useful thanks! I think all your animals are well cared for. I have a dog and a canary.
P.S my dog has recently been moved onto a different food because he had a reaction to the beef and pork . Could you please tell me a raw diet I could move him onto?
Thanks

Hi, I am all the way in South Africa. Thank you for all your info on the different animals! I am getting two sugar gliders and this list is helping a lot. P.S. Not a kid, I am 21 and obsessed with animals!

i'm trying to persuade my mum and dad to get me sugar gliders- are they easy to look after? and can you leave the house for about six hours, or is that too long?

Yes, you can leave the house all day if you need to. They are nocturnal so the sleep during the day. Just make sure you're back by nightfall so you can feed them. I like to carry mine around during the day (if possible) in a pouch so they bond with me.

well I think its your choice because people that I know give them cooked but in the wild they can't cook it because the animals so they eat it raw bu t I would cook it to get rid of bactira on meat

I'm thinking about getting two sugar gliders and have heard feeding them is complicated. So, when feeding sugar gliders do I give them of a tablespoon of any veggie and a tablespoon of any fruit on this list? Is it that simple? Of couse, I would also give them an ice-cubed Instant-HPW and dried glider food.

I would also add some protein to your glider’s diet, as well as sprinkle some Calcium dust for sugar gliders on the fruits. They need more calcium than phosphorus, so the added calcium from the dust will help with that.

Also, is the meat raw or cooked? Or does it not matter.

it answer is it doesn't mater it is safer cooked with out any seasoning or oil though but in the wild they don't have sugar glider ovens to cook their meat

Hi! If it is on the safe list I'd assume if it's dried that is also safe for a treat (ex. craisins)?
